On Tuesday 23 November 2021, at 10.00 A.M. Assistant Professor Dr. Kampanat PENSUPAR, Vice President for International Affairs along with IAD personnel visit Kasetsart University Sriracha Campus to inspect the University to Tumbol or U2T project under the Faculty of Economics called “Toffyso” at Thung Sukhla sub-district, Chonburi province. On this occasion, the delegation was also welcomed by Assistant Professor Dr. Supachat SUKHAROMANA, Dean of Faculty of Economics at Sriracha, and university personnel who were responsible for the project.

The “Toffyso” was founded by a group of locals who want to uplift their life by producing and selling local desserts as processed food. In this sense, Kasetsart University together with Esso (Thailand) co.,ltd had joined to aid this activity under the U2T project by providing financial support and marketing/packaging knowledge to elevate the quality of this product as one of a corporate social responsibility (CSR) program. Moreover, the Toffyso group and Kasetsart University also sign a letter of intent with each other to develop the quality and quantity of processed food.

Furthermore, the delegation also visits the Laem Chabang Mangrove, which Kasetsart University Sriracha Campus together with Laem Chabang Port and Laem Chabang municipality join to preserve the mangrove forest since 2008, and finding a possibility to integrate the U2T project to support the community in this area.
