JICA “Innovative Asia: Scholarship to JAPAN”

      On 14th March 2017, Associate Professor Chamaipak TAYJASANANT, Acting Director of the International Affairs Division welcomed the representatives from the Japan International Cooperation Agency (JICA) and professors from seven leading Japanese universities at Kampol Adulwit Conference Room,  in Golden Jubilee Administration and Information Center, Kasetsart University.

      Innovative Asia is a continuous program from the Government of Japan offers scholarships to students in master’s degree and a doctorate in Asian region countries pursuing a study in Japan. The program aims to enhance the circulation of competent human resources between Japan and Asian countries and to promote innovation in the whole Asia. It is the opportunities for study and internship in Japan for competent students who are studying at ‘partner Schools’ in Asia countries. In this program, participants will be accepted in fields as Science and Technology, and Engineering, especially Information Technology, Internet of Things, Artificial Intelligence, etc.

     The purpose of this lecture is to inform useful scholarship information for students who are interested in higher-education institutions in Japan by the representatives from JICA and professors from seven leading Japanese universities. There were many KU students interested in attending this lecture.
