On 16 January 2017, at meeting room 9 on the 2nd floor of the Golden Jubilee Administration and Information Center, Kasetsart University, Dr. Jingtair SIRIPHANICH, a lecturer, Department of Horticulture, Faculty of Ariculture accompanied the delegations from Science and Technology Department of Zhejiang Provincial Government led by Mr. Chen YONG, Deputy Division Chief, International Division, to meet with Assistant Professor Dr. Buncha CHINNASRI, Acting Assistant to the President, on the occasion of visiting Kasetsart University to discuss the future cooperation in science and technology (S&T).

          According to the policy, One Belt One Road of China to link China with the countries in the region with the development of infrastructure, economic, and people to people by using the educational cooperation and cultural as the main mechanisms. For example, research and student exchanges, cooperation in tourism, etc.

       For the relationship with Zhejiang Province, Kasetsart University has collaborated with Zhejiang University by sending students to study Chinese at Zhejiang University annually and also a partnership with the Department of Chemistry, Faculty of Engineering, etc.

          The visit of the delegation from Zhejiang Province this time aimed to develop cooperation and promote funding for S&T in Agriculture which available for many educational institutions especially Kasetsart University as well as many government agencies and other organizations in Thailand.
