On 16 November 2016, at Meeting Room 9, Kasetsart Golden Jubilee Administration and Information Center. Dr. Chongrak Wachrinrat, Acting President of Kasetsart University, gave a warm welcome to Professor Dr. Masaaki Oka, President, and delegates of Yamaguchi University in signing ceremony between Kasetsart University and Yamaguchi University, Japan. Two MOUs were signed in this signing ceremony. The first one was “Agreement on the Cooperation for Establishment of the Joint Degree Program”. This agreement was about collaborative course in Graduate Study in term of Agricultural Science and life science. The second one was “Agreement for Establishment of Yamaguchi University International Collaboration Office, Bangkok” or YUICO.

  In the afternoon, the opening ceremony of Yamaguchi University International Collaboration Office (YUICO) at Department of Microbiology, Faculty of Science was conducted. The delegates leaded by Professor Dr. Supa Hannongbua, Dean  and  Assistant Professor Dr. Wanna Malapan, Head of Microbiology section together with faculty members, staffs and students of the Faculty participated in the event.
