On 7 November 2016, Faculty of Education, Kasetsart University, organized the AsTEN Fifth Meeting of Presidents, at Cinnamon Residences. This was the fifth meeting of the leader of education in ASEAN.

      The Association of Southeast Asian Teacher Education Network (AsTEN) is the organization of academic collaboration of Education network in ASEAN. The meeting focused on the research cooperation in the international level to develop the potential of teachers for excellence in the region. In addition, the organization also determines the policies which benefit to members for the development of the education disciplines.

      For this meeting, there were about 18-20 people from 10 countries in ASEAN. This aimed to specify a framework of the international academic conference which the Faculty of Education, Kasetsart University will be the host in 2017.

      During the meeting, the Dean of Faculty of Education, Dr. Pattamawadee LEHMNGKOL had a warm welcoming to Dr. Ester B. Ogena,AsTEN Chair and the president of the Philippine Normal University, who honorably chaired and moderated in the meeting.
