On 19 October 2016, at Conference Room 9, at the Kasetsart Golden Jubilee Administration and Information Center, Kasetsart University, Assistant Professor Dr. Buncha CHINNASRI, Acting Assistant to the President welcomed a faculty member and six doctoral degree students from the Department of Economics, Faculty of Economics and Business at Gadjah Mada University (UGM), the Republic of Indonesia.  The delegation of the UGM consisting of:

        The purpose of visit was to get information and discuss the academic cooperation with the management of the Faculty of Economics, Kasetsart University. On this occasion, Dr. Decharut Sukkumnoed Head Department and Dr. Nuttapon Photchanaprasert, Deputy Head of International Affairs and Information Technology, Department of Agricultural and Resource Economics, Kasetsart University presented the information background about the Faculty of Economics and various study programs offered at the faculty. In addition, they also discussed many aspects such as joint degree collaboration, joint research and publication which could be developed towards formal cooperation in the future.  Later on, the Faculty and students from Indonesia departed for the excursion field trip at Thailand’s largest international wholesale and retail market for food products or Talad Thai in Pathum Thani province.
