On 20 October 2016, at the Conference Room 9, on the 2nd Floor of Kasetsart Golden Jubilee Administration and Information Center, Kasetsart University, Dr. Chongrak WACHRINRAT, Acting President of Kasetsart University along with the university administrators and faculty members of Kasetsart University joined to welcome the delegation from the Embassy of Portugal in Bangkok, Thailand led by H.E. Mr. Francisco Vaz Patto, Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of Portugal to the Kingdom of Thailand. The name of the delegate appears in the following.

       The meeting discussed and followed up the progress in Portuguese Language Teaching for the Faculty of Humanities at Kasetsart University, which began operating since the academic year 2013 .This semester has  a  number of 7 students. Therefore, the meeting agreed on a planning working to promote Portuguese Language Teaching more prevalent and support the Faculty of Humanities to study Portuguese in Portugal and return to teaching the language at KU. The meeting also discussed about the exhibition “Portuguese Cinema, Cinema Português”; in order to provide more Portugal information  by using the area around the 1st and 2nd floor of the library, Kasetsart University in organizing screenings and exhibitions. The opening date will be on 16 November 2016.
