9.00 am. on Wednesday 14 September 2016, at room 201, the Vachiranusorn Building, Faculty of Agriculture, Kasetsart University, Bangkhen Campus Bangkok, Associate Professor Dr. Ed Sarobol, Department of Agronomy, Faculty of Agriculture along with Associate Professor Dr. Savitree Malaipan, Department of Entomology, Faculty of Agriculture warmly welcomed the delegations from Universitas Internasional Semen Indonesia led by Professor Dr. Tjiptohadi SAWARJUWONO, Vice Rector for Academic and Student Affairs

        –  Dr. Ir. Chabib BAHARI, Director of Environment and Campus Development Project

        –  Dr. Sri Gunani PARTIWI, Head of Quality Assurance and Performance Management

        –  Ms. Rosa RILANTIANA, Head of Departments of Business.

       Universitas Internasional Semen Indonesia or UISI is new private university. The university was founded approximately for 2 year and keenly interested in partnering with Kasetsart University, which has a reputation for expertise in agriculture, agro-industry, particularly in agriculture and business. Kasetsart University is pleased to support knowledge exchange and cooperation in various fields together with UISI. The meeting also discussed the possibility of developing the Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) between the two universities in the near future; in order to contribute to various aspects of cooperation, such as students, faculty and staff exchange programs; short-term job training programs, joint research programs, as well as assist UISI in establishing the Faculty of Agriculture and the Faculty of Agro-Industry.
