On 23 September 2016 from 14.00 to 16.00 pm, at Conference Room 9, Kasetsart Golden Jubilee Administration and Information Center, Kasetsart University, Dr. Chongrak WACHRINRAT, Acting President of Kasetsart University along with faculty members from the Faculty of Education, Faculty of Engineering and Faculty of Education and Development Sciences, Kamphaeng Saen Campus joined to welcome Dr. John M. Dunn, President of Western Michigan University and Dr. Wolfgang Schlör, Associate Provost for the University’s Haenicke Institute for Global Education, Western Michigan University, paid a courtesy visit to Kasetsart University to discuss the possibility to develop academic and educational cooperation between the two universities which include Faculty and Research Exchange Program, particular in the fields of Early Childhood Education, Special Education, Educational Leadership and Educational Technology, English language programs, short-term exchange and internship students at various levels,  and Joint Degree 3 + 1 + 1 and 4 + 1. In summary, there is also the possibility that the two institutions will initiate the potential cooperation such as the Agreement, Memorandum of Understanding in the near future.
