15 September 2016 at the President’s Conference Room, Office of the President, 2nd Floor of Kasetsart Golden Jubilee Administration and Information Center,  Dr. Chongrak WACHRINRAT, Acting President of Kasetsart University along with the administrators and the faculty members, warmly welcomed the delegation from Miyazaki University, Japan. The visiting delegation consisted of 2 members, including: Professor Dr. Takashi YUASA and Associate Professor Dr. Chitose HONSHO, Department of Agricultural and Environmental Sciences, Faculty of Agriculture, University of Miyazaki.

        On this occasion, the delegation brought over 12 students of Miyasaki Student Internship Program 2016 from University of Miyazaki to make a courtesy call on the executives of Kasetsart University as well as the exchange of cultural and academic learning at Kasetsart University. All students are the first year students of Faculty of Agriculture.

    During the meeting, both universities discussed the various aspects of international collaboration particularly the Student Exchange Program due to the signed MOU between the two institutions. On this occasion, the Faculty and students from the University of Miyazaki had campus tour at Kasetsart University Bang Khen campus including the main KU Library and then travel to visit the Faculty of Agriculture at Kasetsart University Kamphaeng Saen campus.
