A Special Presentation of the Award-Winning Documentary – Watermark
On 16 September 2016 from 14.00 to 16.45 pm. at Thira Sutabutra Conference Room, Kasetsart Golden Jubilee Administration and Information Center, Kasetsart University, Assistant Professor Dr. Buncha Chinnasri, Acting Assistant to the President welcomed the delegation from the Embassy of Canada in Thailand led by Ms. Ayesha Rekhi, Counsellor (Political & Economic Affairs) paid a visit to KU for the purpose of promoting a documentary film: Watermark. The film brings together diverse stories from around the globe about our relationship with water: how we are drawn to it, what we learn from it, how we use it and the consequences of that use in the context of climate change.
Following the documentary, there was a panel discussion on the issue of “Climate Change and Managing our relationship with Water” with local intellectuals including of Associate Professor Dr. Bancha KWANYUEN, Department of Irrigation Engineering, Faculty of Engineering; Mr. Jaray THONGDUANG, Director of Hydrology Division, Royal Irrigation Department; and Asstistant Professor Dr. Sompratana RITPHRING, Department of Water Resources Engineering, Faculty of Engineering, Kasetsart University moderated by Ms. Ayesha Rekhi.
