Short-Term Study Abroad Programs at Kansai University
29 August 2016, at the conference room of the International Affairs Division, the Golden Jubilee Building, Kasetsart University, Associate Professor Dr. Chamaipak TAYJASANANT, Acting Assistant to the President and Acting Director of the International Affairs Division, welcomed Mr.Tsukuda Satoshi and Mr.Hiroyuki Kato, the delegation from Division International Affairs, Kansai University, Japan.
The visitation aimed at promoting three specific short courses for international students who interest to develop Japanese language proficiency and seek short-term study abroad in Japan. Kansai University Japanese Language and Culture Programs at Kansai University offer the three specific short courses including of
- Intensive Japanese Language and Culture Course (IJLC) Period of study is 2-3 weeks in summer and winter.
- Japanese Language and Culture Course (JLC) Period of study is one semester (half a year) or two semesters (one year).
- Preparatory Course (Bekka) Period of study is 1 year in principal but it can be extended up to 2 years.
The courses provide Japanese Language and Cultural instruction to international students. Particularly, Bekka is designed for international students who intend to enter Kansai University or another Japanese institution to pursue a degree. It provides them with instruction in the Japanese language, culture, and society in order to prepare them for extended study in Japan.
