NPUST joins Kasetsart to Boost Up Smart Farmer Research Project

      On August 16, 2016, Dr. Chongrak Wachrinrat, Acting President of Kasetsart University, warmly welcomed   Assoc. Prof. Vincent Ru-Chu Shih, Acting Dean and Deputy Dean of the Office of International Affairs, National Pintung University (NPUST), Taiwan, at 1.30 – 2.00 PM at the Office of the President, the Golden Jubilee Administration and Information Center.

        The discussion covered possibilities of academic collaborations in various fields related to agricultural science, particularly the newly started Smart Farmer research project at Kasetsart University led by the Faculty of Agriculture. NPUST also expressed its interest in hosting a bilateral conference in subject areas related to agriculture in November 2016, which will invite delegates from Kasetsart University to share their research and innovations.

      Assoc. Prof. Vincent Ru-Chu Shih later met Assistant Professor Dr. Sutkhet Nakasathien, Dean of the Faculty of Agriculture, Kasetsart University, and faculty members to discuss further on the aforementioned issues on September 1, 2016 at 4.00-4.45 PM at Vachiranusorn Building, the Faculty of Agriculture.

     Apart from discussing collaborative activities, Assoc. Prof. Vincent Ru-Chu Shih also gave two talks on his recent research on using technology to enhance language learning and getting published in academic journals in humanities and social science  on September 1, 2016 at 1.00-3.00 PM at Chulabhorn-Pisarnsilp Building, the Faculty of Humanities.
