KU welcome the delegation from the Embassy of Japan.

On Wednesday 17th November 2021, at 1.30 P.M., in the IAD meeting room on the 10th floor of the Golden Jubilee Administration and Information Center Building, Kasetsart University. Assistant Professor Dr. Kampanat PENSUPAR, Vice President for International Affairs along with Associate Professor Dr. Chamaipak TAYJASANANT, Assistant to the President for International Affairs, and Miss Araya BIJAPHALA, Director of International Affairs Division welcomed the delegation from the Embassy of Japan in Thailand led by Mr. Minoru KURITA, Counselor along with Mrs. Hiroko MATSUO, First Secretary, and coordinators; on the occasion of visiting Kasetsart University.

The purpose of this visit was to discuss and prepare for the official visit of H.E. NASHIDA Kazuya, Ambassador of Japan to Thailand on 13th December 2021. Hence, Assistant Professor Dr. Kampanat PENSUPAR suggested that the topic for the discussion should focus on the close relationship between Kasetsart University and the top-notch universities from Japan depicted in the amount of the MoU, especially in the agricultural field of studies such as the current research on Cannabis product of the Faculty of Agriculture, and the Japanese language teaching and courses of the Faculty of Humanities.

Later on, Mr. Minoru KURITA and Mrs. Hiroko MATSUO also visit the Faculty of Fishery and the Faculty of Veterinary Science to observe and gather information for the upcoming official visit to Kasetsart University by the Embassy of Japan to Thailand.
