Bangkok, Thailand will be the host of the 8th Ayeyawady-Chao Phraya-Mekong Economic Cooperation Strategy (ACMECS) Meeting to be attended by the leaders of Cambodia, Lao PDR, Myanmar, Vietnam, and Thailand. The meeting will take place on 15-16 June 2018. Thailand Prime Minister will preside over the opening ceremony on 16 June 2018, and there will be leaders, ministers, and senior officials from members of ACMECS, namely Cambodia, Lao PDR, Myanmar, Thailand, and Vietnam.
