The signing ceremony of MOU with CAAS, China

   On 23 March 2018, at Conference Room 9 on the 2nd floor of the Golden Jubilee Administration and Information Center Building at Kasetsart University, Dr. Chongrak WACHRINRAT, Acting President of Kasetsart University along with university administrators including Professor Peerasak  SRINIVES, Appointed Members, Senior Advisor; Associate Professor Dr. Chamaipak TAYJASANANT, Acting Assistant to the President and Acting Director of the International Affairs Division; Associate Professor Dr. Soysuda NA RANONG, Acting Assistant to the President for Academic Affairs and Assistant Professor Dr. Donludee JAISUT, Deputy Dean for International Affairs, Faculty of Agriculture and Assistant Professor Dr. Prakit Somta, Department of Agronomy, Faculty of Agriculture Kamphaeng Saen; welcomed 6 delegates from Chinese Academy of Agricultural Sciences (CASS), China led by Professor Wan JIANMIN, Vice President along with Professor Zhou XUEPING, Director General, Institute of Plant Protection;  Professor Yin HONG, Director General, Lanzhou Veterinary Research Institute; Professor Hu PEISONG, Deputy Director General, China National Rice Institute; Professor Li XINHAI, Deputy Director General, Institute of Crop Sciences; and Professor Zhang HUIJE, Deputy Director General, Department of International Cooperation; on the occasion of visiting Kasetsart University to sign the Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) and Memorandum of Understanding for the establishment of joint laboratory on food legume research between Kasetsart University and Chinese Academy of Agricultural Sciences (CASS), China.

   Both universities are enthusiastic to collaborate in term of academic/research and exchange students and the university’s activities with each other especially in Agriculture field possibly starting with crop/plants germplasm projects, joint research and collaborative projects between universities lecturers, and experiment of pest control products from Chinese Academy of Agricultural Sciences (CASS) etc. It is expected that the establishment of these agreements will lead to future research works, sustainable development and cooperation initiatives in the near future.
