On Thursday 13 July 2017, from 08.30 to 12.00 a.m., at the Thira Sutabutra Conference Room on the 2^nd floor of the Golden Jubilee Administration and Information Center at Kasetsart University, the International Affairs Division organized the special lecture on “Current Trends in International Affairs in Higher Education Contexts” by honorably invited speaker, Mr. Natapanu NOPAKUN, Director of Social Division, Department of International Organizations, Ministry of Foreign Affairs. The opening of this lecture was presided over by Assistant Professor Dr. Buncha CHINNASRI, Acting Assistant to the President; along with Associate Professor Dr. Chamaipak TAYJASANANT, Acting Assistant to the President and Acting Director of the International Affairs Division who introduced the purpose and context of the lecture to all participants.

  The objective of lecture was to increase the competencies and skills of personnel in international affairs of Kasetsart University to understand the current trends in international affairs work in higher education contexts. Today, Thailand’s role in the world has to adapt in the era of globalization. In particular, the future directions of higher education where institution need to set the direction which is balanced with what the country needs as well as must focus on globally competitive that meet the needs of international students.  Therefore, personnel in international affairs of Kasetsart University are a major driving force that promotes Kasetsart University’s role in the international arena more effectively. This lecture has attracted the faculty and personnel in international affairs to participate, exchange and discuss their views, Q & A between speaker and the audience. And finally took the group pictures together after the lecture ended.
